Spend an afternoon on an Indian gastronomic adventure with Cyrus Todiwala OBE DL at our Summer Tandoori Experience.

Open your senses to Cyrus’s feast of authentic Indian street food, which will be served alongside a range of distinctive dishes inspired by his Parsee heritage. Cyrus Todiwala blends his traditional cooking methods with some not-so-traditional ingredients, creating some of the best Indian cuisines you’ll have tasted.

Mr Todiwala’s Kitchen has become a statement restaurant in Canary Wharf, this could be thanks to Cyrus and the restaurant’s dedication to sustainability. Cyrus is renowned for his support given to the British farming community and his use of ingredients from socially-conscious suppliers. You can try these mouth-watering ethical dishes at our Summer event.

Start with some Keralan-style tomato soup with tamarind extract & curry leaves, served with vermicelli tossed with cracked mustard seeds, white lentil, asafoetida & toasted cashew nuts.

Next, the pièce de résistance – the tandoori itself – with its array of meats and fish, including Cyrus’ unique duck breast marinated in extract of ginger & garlic with tamarind & crushed pepper; filet of Wester Ross salmon in Grandma Todiwala’s green chutney; skewered and chargrilled minced lamb with fresh mint, coriander, spices, cashew nuts & dates and, of course, the legend that is chicken tikka, but as you’ve never tasted it before. What’s more, we’re not just giving you a choice of one, but the chance to savour them all!

You will find these unique dishes served alongside some amazing seasonal salads and a range of cooling deserts. You can join us on the 27th July from 12 pm to immerse yourself in this gastronomic treat for just £45 per person.
